The Fondy Bears were tied 2-2 going into the second period on Saturday night. Then they woke up. The Bears got goals from Ryan Blick, Ted Thompson, Carl Bresser and Joe Searl to defeat the Vernon Hills Capitals 12-7. "We woke up at the end of the first period and carried into the second period," Bears forward Ryan Blick said. It was just a matter of time until we got it going." And got it going they did, scoring 8 second period goals.
The Bears return to action on Friday December 12 at the Blue Line vs. the Madison Blues at 8 PM.
