Fond Du Lac

The Fond du Lac Bears open the 2008-09 campaign by hosting the Detroit Raters on October 3-4.  Last season the two teams played even ending their season series 1-1.  "Detroit is a fine team and they always bring their "A" game.  We want to start things off right with a couple good hockey games.  Opening weekend brings us a new begining, new faces and it is exciting to see what kind of team we have." Head Coach Tom MacDonald says. 

The Bears are holding their annual Opening Weekend Tailgate Party at the Blue Line Arena at 4:00pm Saturday, October 4.  Hot Dogs, Brats, Burgers, Beers and Sodas for $1 each. 

The Puck drops at 8:00 pm for both contests, at the Blue Line Ice arena in Fond du Lac.
